I saw Hugh Dillon's appearance on The Hour with George Stroumboulopoulos a while ago, but I saw the one from May 2007 (part 1|part 2) and didn't realize there were more!

So today I came across the episode from October 28, 2009 (part 1|part 2) where he's just as adorable as EVER, and hot and funny and cute and... talks about gun training a little, and gets to shoot George, and mentions CKR. (Did you doubt that he would?!)

Just came across this! -- vidcam footage (with surprisingly good audio!) of Bruce, Noel & Reginald from an August 2008 Toronto screening of Bruce's "personal print" of HCL! They recount a few cute snippets of CKR & HD during casting and pre-production... and then more recently as well.

... and more, more, more, more, and more vidcam stories recounted!

OH GOD. HAHAHAHAA. Hugh and Trent on Mike Bullard's show, some time in 1996-97. Hugh and Trent are JUST. SO. ADORABLE! And the insults/ribbing between them and the host, Mike Bullard, is just HYS.TER.I.CAL!

Wooow, great find! Gonna watch the HCL vids from the screening.

Oh no worries! RL often gets in the way of fandom. I know how it goes... =D Yeah, I can't believe I stumbled across those screening vids -- and it's not like I was doing a different search than I usually do... ^^

Awesome interviews! \o/ It's like he can't help himself with the Callum mentioning, right? So cute! I even love the host, George Whatshisname. They have cool chemistry! :)

I absolutely LOVE Hugh's interviews. He's so comfortable talking to people -- even when he stutters over his thoughts sometimes, and goes off on tangents... but yeah, I love that he and George have good chemistry. =D

It's too bad that Callum gets uncomfortable with interviews. I REALLY REALLY wish there were some interviews with Hugh AND Callum. OMG I think I'd die! Have you seen that interview of Paul Gross & CKR in England? OH POOR CALLUM. He's all like, "I'm staying silent; please don't ask me things."

Always happy to share my finds! I'm always surprised if I come across something no one else has posted before 'cause I feel like I'm SUPER late to the game! =D

Heh, you get me started on interviews, one of my favorite topics. :D

I so agree about Hugh, he seems so comfortable and it's awesome to watch him. Both of them together would make me flail as well! Maybe for HCL2? Squee!

Callum is SO shy sometimes! I get what you mean. The most recently posted one is nearly painful to watch for me because of that (Laurie Brown: On The Arts). I remember a DS convention video: CKR didn't say a peep and PG made a joke that CKR only agreed on coming when he doesn't have to speak. I think you mean an interview that I vaguely remember from youtube, some kind of talk show. Aw! *pets him*

I have to say, I find his shyness cute sometimes. Remember that one: youtube (fidgety much?). He brought water! Who does that? :) I think it's better when there is no one to hide behind. Also, he got better with age (more reason to look forward to a HCL2 interview :D). I adored The Name Of The Game, which I am sure you know. He is not an entertainer like Hugh but he seems more comfortable lately.

I am thrilled that you share your finds. It's been a while since I searched for new stuff on youtube (and I discovered him late as well).

Hahaha, yes, CKR's fidgety-ness is really too adorable for words sometimes. I also was kind of apprehensive to watch that recently posted interview... but after the first minute or two, he's not SO painfully shy anymore. Clearly he's gotten more used to/comfortable with giving interviews more recently, so I can only hope there will be some for HCL2! I will have to stop myself from getting my hopes up for a CKR+HD joint interview because I'd be SO DISAPPOINTED if that didn't happen. =(

I did come across that one of CKR on Mike Bullard once! Why was CKR never on The Hour with George Stroumbouloupolous? I'd be really interested in seeing that exchange!

Have you seen the general interview he gave E!Online for some of his upcoming stuff (Shattered, Gunless)? He's SUPER fidgety in that one! It's my most favorite interview of him -- even though it's not as in-depth as Name of the Game -- it's obvious that he's shy and super fidgety, but he doesn't look uncomfortable being interviewed; he's mostly relaxed (you know, for him) and making jokes and stuff! IT'S THE BEST WHEN HE MAKES JOKES! AAAHHHH I LOVE HIM WHEN HE'S LIKE THAT. <3
