123 pages in. What? No sex yet?! Is Anita okay?

1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 4-7 sentences on your LJ along with these instructions.
5. Don't you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest (unless it's too troublesome to reach and is really heavy. Then go back to step 1).
6. Tag five people.

I picked up LKH's The Harlequin today. Oddly enough, when I spotted the meme on my flist and checked my book, I saw that I'd been on page 123!

One minute leopardman, the next human again. If I hadn't seen Chimera shift from one form to the other like water spilling back and forth between hands, I'd have said Micah was the best at shifting I'd ever seen.

Micah looked up at Richard. "Nathaniel would have been trapped in leopard form for hours."

I couldn't see Richard's face because I was turned to Micah, and it seemed like too much effort to turn my head the other way. But I heard the disbelief in his voice. "It's supposed to cost if you change back before six hours, sometimes longer. Aren't you exhausted?"

LOL I saw the title of this and laughed, it seems like everyones doing this meme. Sadly I dont have book near by so I cant do it. I was so happy when I read the Harlequin and it had a totally of 3 I think sex scenes (spelling?). I remember the part that your blurb is from. Its right after Mommy Dearest had given Anita the tiger...thing no idea what to call it.

I loved Obsidian Butterfly it was before the whole "Anita must fuck anything that moves" thing. It helped my hope for a time when there was some sort of PLOT to the books. Though its not my favorite Edward time (thats in CotD) but it was still damn good for me. The time in AB has always been really odd. I think all of them take place over at most 5 days but never more. But each book is spaced like a month r two apart cause from GP to tH its been like 3 years give or take.

Gees, LC was like book 3 or 4. IT was in fact the first one I read. Bloody Bones was fun despite the whole traumatizing or Jason. I hated Blue Moon because like you I HATE Richard like OMG just die already and stop your bitching. I was so happy in tH when they kinda worked out their issues I was hoping he'll piss off from here on out but I doubt it. Edward is not "nice" in OB. I mean yeah he kinda was nicer than he had been before but it was sorta creepy. The sappiness was hard to deal with cause come on Edward the Family Man...yeah if doesn't work so well BUT Edward the Family Man was in ways scarier than regular Edward.
