I just came across an article saying that Paradise Kiss is going to be made into an anime series! Fuji TV is producing it; they also produced Hachimitsu to Clover (Honey and Clover).
OMG, I want to see it right now. I hope the art is to die for.
The manga was released by Tokyopop. It's a 5-volume series. It's about a studious-type girl who runs into a group of students who go to an arts school and they want to use her as the model for their submission to their school's annual fashion contest. The fashion is very goth-loli. It's so pre~tty. ^^ I didn't actually finish reading the series (even though I have all of the volumes at home), but I've heard the ending was not that great. Still, I love the art, and the characters, so I'm up for it.
