It’s snowing!
Yes, really… it’s snowing! They said it would, but I was skeptical. And it looks like it might actually be sticking, but who knows, come morning…
Speaking of hockey… (okay, so I wasn’t speaking of it, but I couldn’t think of a better segue). I got my AT&T cell phone bill today in the mail. Normally, that wouldn’t be cause for joy or anything, but I opened it up and apparently, AT&T is a sponsor for the NY Islanders… so they’re offering discounts on tickets to certain Isles home games this season. You can get up to two $100 tickets for $60, or $70 tickets for $37, or $50 tickets for $25. I think the $60 ticket deal is really worth it for the money.
So I checked out the dates for which the discount tickets were available, and my first choice is the Isles vs. Devils game on Tuesday, February 27th. Unfortunately, the only way to redeem the discount is to bring the AT&T bill to the Nassau Coliseum box office. Nassau Coliseum is on Long Island – and quite a bit of a ride, too… I don’t know when or how I’ll be able to get there to purchase the tickets (nor with what money I’ll be purchasing them), but I do know that there’s no way I can let this opportunity pass me by! It's times like these I wish I could drive... I wonder if Leo is planning on driving to Nassau Coliseum anytime soon... LOL.
