I am so sorry to hear about what happened to your parents. I can't imagine how they feel, or how you feel. I was cringing as I read it and reread your post. I am glad that they were not hurt, but it's extremely unsettling and all the paperwork that must now be filed and processed. . . .

I haven't gone on LJ very much recently, or ever really, but I hope that your move to L.A. will be smooth.
