Sooooo, apparently I've been bitten by this meme bug. I looked at some 30 days memes out there and yeah, I'm clearly only interested in music memes right now. I'd be interested in doing a picture meme too, but all of them are a picture of "me and something" -- I don't mind posting a few pics of myself at all, but I don't want it to be 30 days of pics of myself. Or, for that matter, other things I find boring. So yeah, it came down to these three. Check out the links to preview the questions.

I'll keep this in mind because I do feel like I should be much more actively pro-woman than I am, but tbh I already almost blanketly dislike the representation of women in TV shows and movies to the extent that I pretty much ignore them and have few positive thoughts about them. Which means this could be a very difficult and/or depressing meme for me to actually DO. =/

Dude, I TOTES get it! Sadly, there's a lot (A LOT!) of FAIL when it comes to women in the media. And, to a certain extent, it feels like the longer I'm in fandom, the more I feel confident about crit how women are portrayed in media and the more saaaadface I get about XYZ female character in XYZ movies and TV shows. :-/

That said, I'm feeling slightly stubborn about it because it's so easy to pick the same old characters and that's not really where I'm thinking of going with the 30-days of women meme. I kinda want to give props to those characters that we don't hear often about. Hmmm...
