Sorry for the comment spam! But yes, I'm really looking forward to the sequel of Parent of Disillusion, but at the same time I really enjoyed the non-happy ending and a teeny sliver of me wants the sequel to never be written. The Fabulist was really fucking amazing. Just, kind of gut-wrenching because I kept hoping and hoping that they'd sort it all out, but it's just so much more realistic the way it ended.
