That's funny~ I'm mostly like that too, although there are certain games (mostly RPGs) that I will actually play. I'm not that great a gamer, so I can't do the serious action ones, like Tomb Raider/Silent Hill kind of ones, where you can actually die... LOL! I'm lucky to have gamer friends that I can watch when they play games I'm interested in, or that they'll play over!
I bough Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II and I only play them during the summer and it drives my friends crazy. Those are the only games that I play. Well actually I'm play like Gameboy games too cause I can take them with me. Like I'll play Pokemon on the train to school and at lunch. Handheld games are my friend, anything else not so much. I love watching my brother play games that like the only bonding we have.

Guitar Hero is awesome. I've been playing it for the last 3 hours and it's sooo much fun. Definitely worth it. ^^
