I started reading the Naruto manga scanlations Suzu sent and O.M.F.G! I am soooo into it. I'm actually really surprised -- I don't dislike shounen fighting/tournament-style manga/anime, but I'm usually not that obsessed by them. But OMG I have been reading the Naruto manga nonstop for the past two weeks. (I'm up to chapter 280 right now.)

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVEEEEE this series. Soooo much.

Once I catch up to the current chapter releases, I'll have to go and start watching the anime episodes that Suzu sent me last year. >_<; And I'll have to find a torrent for whatever episodes I don't have. I haven't even attempted to read Naruto fanfic yet, but I will definitely have to look for some. I don't think I'll have pairing preferences just yet, so if you have recommendations, please let me know. Otherwise, I might just be leaning toward gaanaru.

Also, I really like Kakashi and Jiraiya (not together necessarily). Jiraiya really reminds me of Bontenmaru (whom I loooove~) from Samurai Deeper Kyo. So~ cute. ^^

loudnbothered, I was wondering if you'd recommend any Naruto fighting games for either PS2 or PSP, since those are the only systems I have access to.

Why do I have a feeling it's not Sasuke X Sakura.....

PS2 currently has one naruto fighter out now in the states, as well as a dynasty warrior esque game w/ Naruto, Sasuke, Shikimaru, Neji and I think Chouji and Kiba as playable characters, I depends on what your into really. I prefer the cube ones. Also is ur ps2 modded, coz there's at least 3 naturo fighting games out.

The psp games blow, the cube is the way to go w/ Naruto fighters.

As far as the anime goes, it's been nothing but fillers for geez. Almost 2 years now. Normally, I don't care if things are fillers or not, but these are BAD. BAAAAD. The art is scary, the storylines horrible (Naruto PEES ON SOMEONE in one). It's AWFUL.

HOWEVER. They are FINALLY due to end in spring, and it's going to start with the skip - so the boys will be 15-16ish. Really, you're getting into it at the perfect time!

I have some fics in my memories and a rec list here, though that's long since abaondoned. ^^;

How you screened that reply I don't know :-D, but yes I'm totally current in the manga, which is at chapter 334 right now, and watched the series up until the filler began, which was at around ep 136 or so. I just couldn't wait anymore, and ran to the manga haha.

I've heard about the filler ending and am very excited! "Naruto Shippuuden" is scheduled to start in winter '07, which hopefully means late Jan. to mid Feb. (I'm a hopeful lad) but could be as late as March. We'll seeee.

Nope, my PS2 isn't modded. =/ I'm more interested in the fighters (not into the dynasty warrior-esque gameplay). What's the name of the game that you guys were playing at John Baker's house a couple months ago? With 4 playable characters? If that's playable on the gamecube, I might be able to borrow a friend's gamecube. ^^

And hmm... no, not Sasuke x Sakura. ^_~

P.S. What does "Shippuuden" mean? And if the fillers started around 136... dare I ask what episode they're up to now?

The people behind naruto anime went for the freaking gold. There are 212 eps now, and since that 136 or so it has ALL been filler, BAD filler. That's nearly two years :-/. I suppose it was pretty "gangsta" of them to make the decision to do that O_o.

Shippuuden means Hurricane Chronicles, as I've seen it widely translated. Otherwise known as Naruto Z bwahaha.

That was the 4th clash of the ninja game for the cube. The first and 2nd ones are avaiable for the cube, but the 2nd one was the first one with the 4 way vs.....

hey, i've played the naruto gamecube game. Its killer fun. I'm buying my friends gamecube soon, so if you ever want to get together and play let me know. Plus I'm sure we drag chris and more to make it 4 player. But lets def do something before x-mas, call me sometime.
