Well, I didn't make soup for her, but I did stay with her pretty much all weekend. Unfortunately, she wasn't allowed to eat anything past midnight on Friday because they were going to take her into surgery on Saturday morning. But then they didn't take her in until Saturday at 10:30pm, so she didn't eat or drink anything for 24 hours. =(
